Oracle Drops PeopleSoft Certs

5/10/2005 -- Oracle recently announced on its Web site that PeopleSoft's certification exams will be retired en mass on June 30.

The program consists of 24 exams as well as training requirements.

According to Oracle, those who earn a PeopleSoft credential before the exams retire will retain their credential. Exam retakes and other attempts to earn the title will not be allowed after the above date.

Oracle acquired PeopleSoft earlier this year.
