Redmond Magazine Welcomes New Editor Keith Ward

Irvine, CA, November 1, 2005 - Redmond magazine is proud to announce the hiring of Keith Ward as Editor. Formerly Senior Editor of Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine and then Managing Editor of Redmond, Keith has rejoined the Redmond team as Editor.

Keith has been a journalist for 16 years, and was a key force in the successful transition from Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine to Redmond magazine. He's worked for numerous media outlets, including Web sites, newspapers, magazines and radio. Ward is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on both the Windows NT and Windows 2000 platforms, and worked in the IT department of a Fortune 500 media company as an NT Applications Specialist. This combination of both IT and journalism experience makes him a perfect fit for his new role as Editor.

Now Ward will drive the ongoing success of the magazine and related electronic properties. "Redmond magazine has established itself as the leader for the IT community that relies on Microsoft products" Ward said. "My job is to keep that momentum going, and help produce a magazine that's indispensable in our readers' lives. We help them do their jobs better by giving them real-world advice on using Microsoft software, and providing them with key strategic information that helps clarify their management decisions. I'm delighted to be back with 101communications, and look forward this new opportunity."
