Redmond Channel Partner Magazine Staffs Up, New Editor in Chief Unveiled
Redmond Channel Partner announces two major staff additions.

Irvine, CA, November 5, 2005 – Redmond Channel Partner announces two major staff additions. Scott Bekker, former Editor in Chief of ENT Magazine, has joined as Editor in Chief of Redmond Channel Partner.

Bekker was a key figure in the launch of Redmond magazine in October 2004. Bekker served as News Editor of Redmond magazine since its launch, and as Editor of ENTmag.com since 2001.

Aimed at Microsoft VARs, distributors and other types of resellers, Redmond Channel Partner is a sister publication to Redmond, which focuses on Microsoft customers. "We're off to a great start at Redmond Channel Partner. I look forward to building on that momentum in 2006 by dedicating every page of the magazine to helping Microsoft Partners expand their businesses by getting the most out of their Microsoft relationships," Bekker says.

Bekker is joined by new Executive Editor Anne Stuart. Stuart has spent nearly 25 years as a writer and editor for daily newspapers, regional and national magazines, an international wire service and several Web sites.

Before joining Redmond Channel Partner, she edited Momentum, a Microsoft-sponsored magazine, e-newsletter and Web site for midsize businesses. Previously, she was the TechnoFile columnist for Inc.com, a senior writer covering technology for Inc. magazine and a senior editor and writer for CIO, where she helped launch two spinoff publications, contributed to CIO.com, oversaw an annual Web business awards program and served as a commentator on CNBC’s “Technology Edge.”

“I’m delighted to join the RCP team, especially so early in the publication’s evolution. From my previous Microsoft-related experience, I know there’s a huge worldwide pool of channel partners hungry for strong, independent coverage of the company. As we did in the magazine’s first few issues, we’ll continue providing them a mix of news, analysis and features targeted to their needs and interests. In addition, many of those same companies have terrific stories to tell; I look forward to hearing them and to sharing them with other RCP readers,” Stuart says.
