Redmondmag.com Named 2nd Fastest Growing Web Site by Min’s B2B

Irvine, CA, May 17, 2006 - On Monday min’s b2b named Redmondmag.com the second fastest growing publication Web site in its annual list of the Top 50 traffic gainers of 2005.

Redmondmag.com, the online home of 1105 Media’s Redmond magazine, earned the ranking thanks to triple-digit growth in 2005. Unique visitors (UVs) for the site rose 128 percent from Jan. 2005 to Dec. 2005, and page views (PVs) rose a whopping 198 percent in the same period. Another 1105 Media site, TDWI.org, made the list at No. 5.

According to the Top 50 list, the five fastest-growing B2B publication Web sites are:

1. Entrepreneur mag.com -- +267% UVs, +120% PVs
2. Redmondmag.com -- +128% UVs, +198% PVs
3. Variety.com -- +94% UVs, +35% PVs
4. ToolsoftheTrade.net -- +79% UVs, +59% PVs
5. TDWI.org -- +63 % UVs, +41% PVs

“Redmondmag.com continues an impressive run of growth that has lasted since it rebranded Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine,” said Steve Smith, digital media editor, in an earlier issue of min’s b2b. “The site puts reader-defined issues front and center, with clear calls for reader feedback and problem-sharing, a consultative approach to business editorial that is clearly the wave of the future, especially for online b2b.”

“We knew we had a great year, but to see us come out at the top of such an incredible list -- and to be one of only two sites that experienced triple-digit growth -- is extremely gratifying,” commented Becky Nagel, editor of Redmondmag.com. “Our reader-focused strategy of providing a site that offers quality, independent editorial and also serves as a gathering place for the Windows IT community is really paying off for us.”

Redmondmag.com debuted in October 2004. The site offers a wide variety of content for IT professionals, including daily news, how-to articles, exclusive columns and a myriad of ways for readers to interact with each other as well as the editorial staff.

Redmondmag.com won an Ozzie award for Best Site Design at the 2005 Folio Show, and has been nominated as Best Publication Web Site, Trade in the Western Publishers Association’s Maggie awards two years in a row.
