2/15/2006 -- If you're having problems finding your favorite Office exam, you may soon have an easier time of it.

Certiport, the company that runs the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification program for Microsoft, announced today that it has launched new exam software that will make it "four times faster" for testing centers to install the MOS Exams. By requiring less resources, the new software, known as iQsystem 6.0, should make it easier for testing centers to load MOS exams and make the installtion process quicker when a candidate is the first to take their chosen exam at a particular testing center.

According to the company, the hands-on exams that the MOS program is known for will also perform better with the upgrade.

The English version of the software is currently being distributed to Certiport testing centers worldwide. The rollout of all language versions should be completed by June 30, the company said.
